User:: SonDa5 I've been waiting for a motherboard like this.
Hope other mother board builders take note.
User:: Brutuz Ehhh....
Those RAM slots look like they're DDR2, not DDR3, did someone make a typo?
User:: sainrub Any updated ETA yet MBP?
User:: MBP ETA About 1 Month
User:: Jonnyboy88 1 Month From what? Comments aren't dated.
User:: MBP Sorry About that.
DFI is telling us some time in August
User:: S. on Da 5 Looks like the SATA interface devices may be in the way of long video cards like HD4850.
User:: JP Yep...I downloaded the manual from the manuf. website and it states DDR2 memory (not DDR3). Perhaps I am missing something.
User:: MoboPro There are 2 boards coming out. One is the DFI LP Jr P45 T3RS and one is DFI LP Jr P45 T2RS we are adding the DFI LP Jr P45 T2RS this week.
User:: The Scavenger When are you exactly adding the P45 T2RS? Any release date for the T2RS?
Thanks
User:: ratbuddy S. on Da 5, they are 'side firing' SATA ports and shouldn't interfere with any graphics cards. Can't wait for this board.
User:: Csweets I see you say about one month ETA, one month from when?
User:: higgamo is it gonna be release around august 15?
User:: Sam September i think
User:: The Scavenger Can we get an update on when this board is coming out?
Thanks
User:: MoboPro New ETA is September :(
User:: Nicholas Rowlett I heard that DFI was producing 500 motherboards aug. 8 wich could be ready to be shipped a day later and than they will be producing another 1000 in the beginning of september.
User:: The Scavenger Motherboardpro should make a mailing list for these new DFI Jr. boards. :-)
User:: MobPro We are if you just email us. We will email you before we go live.
User:: MobPro DFI LP JR P45-T2RS Board will ship on 8-13-2008
User:: Joe Anything new on the eta for this motherboard, I now sometime in september but do you now what day maybe, thank you.
User:: ajlew32 I got a quote of 3-4 weeks in a message dated 08/15/2008 (from MotherboardPro). So, week of September 8-12 for preorders of the DDR3 board.
User:: TheScavenger Do we have a release date for this board yet? Thanks
User:: ModoPro Sorry no Update yet
User:: lbiza When will there be a mobo that supports DDR3? You guyes are killin me bro...
User:: Borden Says Cross fire will it work with sli cards?
Look like just the ticket
User:: MobPro If you are looking to us 2 video cards the only thing you can do is *Cross fire* . you can not run SLI on this board
User:: lbiza Ok but will "bigger" HD cards fit on this mobo? Is there a size limitation on how big the vid card can be? Bc if it can't run SLi might as well get an expensive card that doesn't need SLi
User:: Joe Well Ibiza I now the feeling Ive been waiting for awhile too for this mobo. As far as the large video cards go ( for example 4870x2 videocards which can be 10inches in length ) its really more dependent on the case then the motherboard. I was going to put this mobo into the following case " APEVIA X-QPACK2-NW-BK/500 " its a microatx case cube case for short, newegg.com has them for sale and they allow up to 10" videocards. Also dont blame mobopro for the delay its really DFI's fault for taking so long, hehe so DFI if your reading this hurry up already!
User:: Mobo We have contacted DFI for an updated ETA and there is not one so far. We will have these boards FIRST for Pre-Sale as soon as there is a confirmed ship date. We will post it as soon as possible- We know everyone is anxious for the release!
User:: hey-ya Can't wait for this board. Anyone know the revision of the p45?
The ddr2 version has a revision 2 and 3 with the 3 giving better OC results (hardocp thread)
User:: WiCKeD Also still waiting for the T3RS board...
User:: awwasdf I have a feeling this board may not come out. Intel plans on discontinuing quads a little after Nehalem. I bought the tr2s because I was tired of waiting.
User:: WiCKeD Do you mean quad core 775 processors? Well the T2RS is hamstrung by the DDR2, where the tech is maxed out. T3RS is needed to make the P45 fly. Anyway, Nehalem will be a step down for gamers, which is the major market that a microATX Crossfire board is designed for.
