As the resource Digitimes, Intel intends to present the next generation of chipsets, 8-series processors with Haswell in April 2013. At the same time supply processors Ivy Bridge, as reported by motherboard manufacturers, should reach a peak in the last quarter of this year. Manufacturers point out that the mobile platform Ivy Bridge can have the shortest life cycle of recent years.
Haswell chips will be made subject to the same 22-nm process technology standards, but it will be an improved architecture that significantly increases the performance of CPU and GPU components. Contact LGA1150 platform will replace the LGA1155 and will not be backward compatible, so users have to buy a motherboard with a chipset 8-Series.
In April 2013, Intel first to launch CPUs Haswell and productive medium level, as well as chipsets Z87 and H87, which will replace the Z77, Z75 and H77. Entry-level chipset H81 will be launched in June 2013 and will replace the existing H61. For corporate users will be offered chipset Q87, Q85, and B85, and Q87 will support the technology, Intel vPro.
