I have one on pre order. I just can not wait to get this board to see how it will overclock.

Nice to see DFI LANParty LT X48-T3R X48 chipset it supports the Intel's latest 45nm quad-core processors and will support up to three AMD Crossfire video cards working together . With DDR3-1333, which means DDR31600 support, single channel. Intel X48 also supports the 1600MHz FSB used by its Intel Core 2 Extreme QX9770 processor.

User:: con
O yes it is now in stock. From my tracking # my DFI LP LT X48-T3R X48 will be here on Friday.
Thank you for the low price on a new board and the fast shipping.

User:: dnox
This board looks like it has all the bells and whistles you could possibly want built on top of a solid and stable motherboard platform.

User:: Nflow

User:: Messymarv
Wow, new Crossfire board... I have 1 visiontek 3850. I am about to get 1 more and this motherboard. Do you think this will work better then my 2 8600GTS 512mb in SLI mode???

User:: funton
Messymary
Is your Visiontek 3850 512MB or 256MB ?

User:: Messymarv
It is a 512mb version... GDDR3 memory.

User:: funton
Yes 2 Visiontek 3850 512MB video cards will be faster than 2 8600GTS 512MB video cards.

User:: frank
I have 2 Visiontek 3850 512MB cards in this Mobo that I just got and I love them.

Thanks Mobo for the fast shipping.

The board works great

This is a great board. I added 2x2GB G.Skill 12300, E8400, Arctic Freezer 7 Pro, AS-ceramique, 2 sapphire 3870s 512MB in crossfire, UltraX3 1Kw PSU, WD5000YS x2 SATA non-raid, dual-boot WinXPsp3 and WinXP64sp2 in CM690 case (added 2 120mm fans: 1 at top back and 1 in the 5.25 in bays). Ran memtest and prime95 - everything passed, CPU idles about 38C, hit 56C under prime95 torture test, Northbridge idles @40C. Have not yet tried to overclock or run 3Dmark. Took 2 days to assemble including setup (disk partitioning and loading 2 operating systems), perform basic tests, setup Xfire, and optimize cable mgmt: had to run CPU pwr cable under the mobo stand-offs -good that the cable is well insulated (UltraX3 cable lengths allowed totally unrestricted air flow over the CPU and northbridge). I may have time to run more tests and maybe overclock tonight. The installed BIOS fully supports all my stuff and has so many options/settings that I need to spend more time getting to know it before I attempt serious overclocking.

User:: Paintball
treefrog07 I keep seeing that G.Skill is the way to go I think next time I will try some.

User:: treefrog07
I added 1x2GB DDR400 G.Skill to my old mobo over the winter; was less expensive than comparable Corsair, OCZ, and Patriot. It has worked very well - even with a little OCing on the socket 478. Plus, G.Sill tech support has answered a lot of questions in various forums. So I thought I'd give it a try on this board. so far, so good.

User:: Paintball
Nice

User:: treefrog07
It took me almost two weeks to emable xfire. The manual is wrong, use PCIe slots 1 and 3 for your xfire cards - PCIe slot 4 is 1x only. Slots 1 and 4 are 16x.

3dMark06 scores went from 11178 to 14611 for WinXpsp3, and from 10969 to 14341 for WinXP64sp2. I had to bump the memory voltage to ~1.7v to stop re-booting in 3DMark06.

User:: treefrog07
Sorry, none of my keyboards have ever been good at spelling.

Use PCIe slots 1 and 3 for xfire cards. The manual says to use slots 1 and 4 - it is WRONG.

User:: curry
I just put a order in for 2 ATI Radeon 4850 to go in this board. For the price it just looked to good to Pass Up.

User:: MobPro
treefrog07
Did you get the xfire cards working ?

User:: mike
Great price!

User:: mike
Great price!

User:: treefrog07
Yes, see above (and below).

Use PCIe SLOTS 1 and 3 (with the connecting ribbon cable on the card tabs furthest away from the output connections) for Crossfire. I'm really happy with the display improvement with Crossfire.
